Kinesthetic skills: Exercise is essential for enhancing both the physical and mental well-being of today's school children. In the 21st century, children are often lacking in key areas such as sunlight exposure, proper posture, physical activity, social interaction, and quality sleep. Engaging in regular exercise and organized sports offers some of the most effective solutions to counteract the negative effects of modern diets, sedentary lifestyles, and poor health habits.
From Nursery to PP2, children participate in various exercises aimed at developing fine and gross motor skills. In Class 1 to Class 5, students engage in games that target the strengthening of the upper body, lower body, and core, promoting overall body development, coordination, and balance. From ages 6 to 10, boys and girls are encouraged to participate in games such as Kho Kho, Dodgeball, Throwball, Volleyball, and others, all of which enhance physical fitness, agility, stamina, bone density, and muscle strength. These activities also contribute to improving immunity and reducing the risk of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.
